The language of Insectotròpics emphasizes the process beyond the end result. Its collective and multidisciplinary work builds its own characteristic stamp that identifies its creations: a radical, multimedia, symbolic and dreamlike language. The company mixes live video art, painting, theater, performance, music and other disciplines and shows how it does it, so that the audience receives the show and the process at the same time. Beyond the shows, Insectotròpics has experimented in audiovisual formats, laboratories or workshops, as well as in the organization of galas or festival stage spaces.
Laboratories
Laboratories
Insectotropics offers creative exchange experiences. The laboratories are a space for shared experimentation, open to the public, which delves into the basic principles of the company: the hybridization of disciplines and collective work.
Participation in these creative spaces is open to artists in any field: video-creation, film, painting, sculpture, music, performing arts, theater, dance, scenography, photography, lighting, writing, etc. One of the aims is to bring together all kinds of creators in the same space, surrounded by the public, working freely, individually or collectively, developing multi-sensory actions halfway between performance, work in progress, action theater or live cinema with passive or active audiences, willing to interact with any of the proposals.
An example of these experiences are the 3 days that were carried out with the theme of Dante Alighieri’s The Divine Comedy.

Research into the mix of artistic disciplines has led Insectotròpics to a myriad of plastic and expressive possibilities. A mix that has also led them to the creation of videos and audiovisual content.
